Day 1 of fishing: Spend a full day drift boat fishing for Steelhead on the Salmon River. Enjoy a hot lunch on the boat and take in the steep canyon scenery around you.
After your trip is over, depending on where you fished that day, your guide will drop you off at the Domes or a nearby boat ramp where your car will be parked.
If you stayed at the domes the night before your trip, your guide will pick you up there!
Day 2 of fishing: Your guide will have you meet them at the final boat ramp the next morning, and you will ride to the put-in with them. Your guide will direct you to this boat ramp after fishing on day 1 so you know where to meet them.
On day 2 you will have another full day of fishing with a hot lunch in the boat, you will likely be fishing a different stretch of river
This trip can be expanded to be more than 2 days/2 nights! Just ask and we will work out a package that fills your needs!

We do not allow wood fires outside the dome (because of fire danger). A propane fire pit is provided.
The dome is heated by a wood stove. During the spring and fall, we will build a fire the afternoon of your arrival but you are responsible for keeping it going.
There is NO A/C in the dome, but it does have a ceiling fan and windows. There is no need to worry about being too hot without A/C. The Salmon River canyon cools in the evenings, and the Fall & Spring times are comfortable months.
There are 2 domes available. Each dome contains 1 queen bed. One Dome is perfect for couples or a parent and child.
No Onsite Kitchen - You must bring your own camp cookware, food, drinking water, ice, and cooler.
The dome is heated by a wood stove. We can show you how to use the wood stove but it is your responsibility to keep it going
No Cell Service or Wifi - We have a phone you can use if an emergency should arise.
Clean Porta-Potty Bathroom. No running water available.
The Domes
The Salmon River Domes are accessible by car and easy to get to. They are located 15 miles upstream from Riggins. The domes are a completely off the grid luxury camping experience. The inside of the domes feature a wood stove for heat, a seating area that overlooks the river, modern furnishings, a queen bed, and solar lighting. Outside of the dome you will find a propane fire pit, picnic table, and propane BBQ.
We provide fire wood for the indoor stove during the spring and fall months. The domes have a clean “porta-potty” toilet and an outside camp shower.
